From one question to your first memory

In “Memoirs”, you can tell a memory in your own words and develop it with help from AI. Begin with one moment that matters to you.

  1. Open Granny-AI

    Open the app in your browser. Complete the first-time setup or sign in with your existing account.

  2. Choose Memoirs

    Choose “Memoirs” on the home screen. Use one of these questions for inspiration or begin with a memory of your own.

  3. Tell your memory

    Type a few sentences about your moment. Only enter details the storyteller wants to keep in the app. You can also use the app’s voice input.

  4. Review and save

    Read the response and correct anything that does not fit your memory. Then choose “Save this memory now”.

AI can make mistakes. You decide which words describe your memory accurately and what you would like to save.

    Choose one question

    Read out two or three options and pick one together.

  2. Minutes 2–6

    Make room for the story

    Listen. If you are curious, ask, “What did that look like?” or “What do you remember most about it?” You do not need to fill every pause.

  3. Minutes 7–9

    Keep it in your own words

    If you would like to enter the memory in Granny-AI, agree on that together first. A place, a detail and one sentence can be enough to begin.

  4. Minute 10

    Read it together

    Read your text together: “Have I understood this correctly?” Correct anything that does not fit, and decide whether anyone else may read it.

The timing is only a guide. Stay with the question if you would like to talk longer. If a topic does not feel right, choose another one.
